At Floating Point™ we embrace the concept of the engineer as artist. We reject the fragmentary approach of the legacy 'education' systems which divide the so-called 'sciences' and 'arts' into separate categories of thought. Our design team is our build team. At Floating Point™ we require that an engineer's sketching skills match their trigonometry or calculus skills.
Established in Florida
Floating Point™ picked Florida as our base because of the State's enduring support for freedom of speech and the engineering industry. Florida also has the best child-protection laws in the world, offering the death-penalty for anyone who severely abuses a child. Florida has a long history of remarkable engineering. The state is home to the Kennedy Space Center.

At Floating Point™ we operate in several of the most competitive and hostile environments in the world. We surf in shark-infested waters. Our competition is enraged. For this reason, our security is near-impenetrable and our employees are a closely-guarded secret. Some of the best minds in the world work for us. We want to keep it that way.

Open Source Ethics
Freedom is important to us. For this reason, we only use open-source engineering-software and operating-systems. This means that our work can never be obseleted by a software-provider; it will always remain free-to-access. Floating Point™ maintains the highest ethical standards in the industry. We do not tolerate the use of slave-labor or child-labor.
Research Inquiries
Floating Point™ is a manufacturing hub. Our engineers work across multiple disciplines, from CAD, to CNC, to lathe; never losing touch with the gritty, razor-sharp, post-cyberpunk reality of the factory floor.
